Tony has had 30 years experience to General Management/Director level in the finance sector including venture capital, development banking, finance companies and commercial banking. He has played a key role in the financing of innumerable business start-ups and major business expansions. Tony has specialist expertise in company turnarounds and credit risk assessment and management.

Tony has been a major shareholder in a number of successful small companies and has acted as a advisor to many private sector companies and Government departments including Treasury, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (as it then was). He has managed projects as diverse as the reconstruction of a Pacific Islands development bank to the Sale of the Crown’s interest in New Zealand’s Wellington Airport.

Tony has a B. Com. Degree. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and a past member of the Society of Accountants.

Tony has been a committed and enthusiastic investor in the Australian and New Zealand share markets for the past 10 years.

Andrew founded Aspect Financial in 1997 and grew the business to its current position as Australia’s leading provider of independent equities information and research.
Under Andrew’s leadership Aspect acquired the Huntley equities data business in 2001. Aspect and Huntleys Investment Information merged to form Aspect Huntley in July 2003. In 2005 Aspect Huntley acquired InvestorInfo (ASX code INV) a financial magazine publisher. In July 2006 Aspect Huntley was sold to Morningstar, Inc (Nasdaq: MORN). Aspect Huntley now operates as an integrated part of Morningstar Inc.’s Australian business. Following the Acquisition, Andrew served as CEO for Morningstar Australia and New Zealand from 2006-2010.

Terry is the Founder and Managing Director of Allen Strategic, a company specialising in the provision of Governance, Strategy and Execution services at board and executive level.
In a career spanning 20 years, Terry has held senior roles in multi-national technology companies, including 12 years with Microsoft.  He also ran the incubation business for Auckland University’s Icehouse incubator for 2 years, focusing on business growth strategy, business start-ups, commercialization and small company governance.

In addition to his role at Sharesight, Terry is currently a director for a number of organisations including, Klickex, the ecentre business incubator at Massey University and an advisor to UniServices, Auckland University’s commercialization office and Waikatolink.

Vanessa has extensive experience in Sales and Marketing, Public Relations, and Business Development. Vanessa’s background includes a variety of senior roles within the Financial Services industry and Publishing industry in Australia. Vanessa also has extensive experience as a small business owner, having co-founded and run a contracting business from 1999 – 2006.
Vanessa spent 5 years a Business Development Manager for Calibre Financial Technology from 1999-2006.

Calibre Financial Technology was established in 1995 as an I.T. company consulting to the financial markets, focusing on providing leading-edge technology solutions in the capital markets and funds management sectors.
More recently Vanessa was a National Account Executive at Morningstar Australasia. Morningstar, Inc. is a leading provider of independent investment research in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Scott has a bachelor of Commerce and Administration. Upon graduating Scott worked for Wellington company LEA Ltd and was a project manager for a variety of technology projects ranging from computer network installations in local primary schools to state of the art home automation systems installed into hi-tech apartments.

Scott spent 3 years working for a large govenrment department, working his way up to a senior level in the IT service delivery team.

More recently Scott founded Haven Technologies Limited, which developed leading edge home theatre and digital entertainment solutions.

Marcus has been in the IT industry since completing a Masters Degree (Computer Science) in 1992. He has worked within a variety of industries, including TelCo’s Clear Communications and Ericsson’s (Dublin, Ireland), GIS, banking, energy (BP – London), and property information.

He has been an architect/lead developer on a number of internet developments, including:

• www.terranet.co.nz, (Wellington, NZ) property information online -finalist for Computerworld Excellence Awards 2004 (eBusiness of the year).
• www.isa.co.uk, (London, UK) an online accounting/sales order processing intraweb system for Sterling Publishing Group.
• www.grocerygateway.com (Toronto, Canada) online shopping/order processing.

Marcus has worked as a trainer for Software Education, Rational, and SUN in Java, VB, C++, Jade, OO analysis and design, requirements management and case tools, and completed business analysis assignments for LINZ while employed by Equinox Software Architects as a senior consultant.

Nigel has been in the IT industry since completing a Master of Technology in 1997 and has worked within the banking, government, music and energy industries.

He has been the lead developer on numerous Internet developments including:

Claudio has many years’ experience building high quality web applications using a variety of modern technologies and frameworks including Ruby on Rails, JavaScript/Ajax (Prototype, jQuery, OpenLayers), PHP, Zend, CouchDB, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgresSQL, Flex, Struts (Java), Spring(Java).

Claudio also has extensive knowledge in areas such as database administration, systems administration, and network security.
Claudio has a Master’s degree in Information and Network Security from the University of Milan. Claudio spent several years working as a systems engineer and web developer in Italy before moving to New Zealand in 2007.
